thought it was kind of humorous considering the role the "big fish"
played in the story, giving Neo the one thing he needed in order to win,
which is the exact function of the classic Deus ex Machina in ancient
Roman drama.
from dictionary.com:
deus ex machina \DAY-uhs-eks-MAH-kuh-nuh; -nah; -MAK-uh-nuh\, noun:
1. In ancient Greek and Roman drama, a god introduced by means of a
crane to unravel and resolve the plot.
2. Any active agent who appears unexpectedly to solve an apparently
insoluble difficulty.
It's a very good possibility that the fish was the architect, not just a
construct sent to interact with Neo.
Just thought the name was amusing.
