The a:hover pseudoclass doesn't work. The positioning isn't working right.
The absolutely positioned elements are partly behaving like fixed position
elements, but not well. When scrolling, the absolutely positioned elements
aren't scrolling. Instead they are behaving like fixed positioned elements,
and non-positioned elements that are scrolling are over and underlapping the
positioned elements.
