others of the same faith as my people. But I do hear Jewish, and Muslims
etc refer to themselves as "my people". Is my people appropriate in any
situation where a person feels a connection with others like him
regardless of which lines they are drawn on (religious, ethnic, racial,
etc)

In truth the only ones that grabbed me was the "we created X" comments,
especially the Superman one. I can be wrong about anything else, but I
know what
my people made. :)
