That sure is a depressing statement Matt. Unless of course you mean the
family structure to also only be the husband and wife and pets.

Phil and I will never have kids. We don't want any. We're actually
highly allergic to them. :D That and we are selfish and do not want to
share our toys, but that's another matter entirely ;)

We got married because we wanted to. Because we both suddenly found the
person we wanted to be with for the rest of our lives. We viewed
marriage as making a serious, officially recognized committment to each
other. Something living together would not have done. (no offense meant
to those of you that chose that route [living together without
marriage], it was something we didn't want to do.)

I've lived with one guy (ex-boyfriend) for over 8 years (and a couple of
others for varying amounts of time), being married to Phil is so totally
different mentally. It's something I cannot articulate into words.
