effects. The special effects used on actresses' breasts are paid for by the
actress not sci-fi. ;^)
Sci-fi has shown very little interest in producing series anymore - unless
they're cheap as dirt. I think that "Stargate" and "Tremors" are all that's
left - and I fear for Stargate.
They'll pay one smaller price for a mini-series and then show it OVER AND
OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER until those four hours of TV are shown more
than any expensive series would be.

is it a miniseries or is it a new tv series? i hear mini-series so i'm
wondering why they don't just make it a tv show if its only a
mini-series.
or is it a mini-series which if it does well becomes a full series next
year?

I hope it's not as bad as the reviews say. I'm going to give it a chance
for
sure. I heard it is a bit oversexed, which I _really_ hope is wrong.
Nothing
is more silly than when folks try to over sex things. Does anyone
remember
the Uncle Ben ad campaign that used sex? Sex.... and rice. Um, yea, I
get
it.
