an hour south of Albany. Within an hour of Albany you can get pretty much
anything you want: 10 person towns, no person towns, mountains, valleys,
lakeside, riverside, no-side, etc. ;^)
Education will vary according to the district, but there are really no awful
schools that I've ever heard of in the area. I'm not sure about jobs
lately.

Subject: Anyone in the Albany, NY area?
Hey list,
Wife and I are considering a move to the Albany area. Just wanted to get a
feel for the job/education (for our kids)/lifestyle of the area. Also
wondered if anyone knew of places to start looking for a home. We prefer
more of a rural lifestyle, don't mind a long commute to work if it means I
can be somewhat away from people/traffic/noise when I go home.
Thanks!
