Thanks all for the quick response.
Moving the form won't help, since they are making the dropdowns long and
wide enough to eventually cover the entire screen! (not really but close)
=)
The _javascript_ on/off seems promising. I wonder if I can detect which select
items will be hidden by a given dropdown, and only make those disappear.
Thanks,
Jerry Johnson

There is a way around this. On a onmouseover or something simply turn the
select box invisible, then univisble it when the menu is mousedout.
That was like a 2 year olds analogy but I think you get the ppicture...

Subject: Quick dhtml question
I have a dhtml dropdown menu on one of my pages (created by a designer in
Fireworks)
I just put it on a page with a form containing a select box.
The select box shows over the top of the dropdown menulist in IE. As if it
had the highest z-index. Which it doesn't.
Is this a known issue (that I have been blissfully unaware of)?
Is there anything I can do about it?
Thanks for any info,
Jerry Johnson
