Phillip has it right I'm afraid. Thankfully Finn my 4 year old is already
an evil little pimp. Made out with the neighbor girl and knocked over her
brother one day. Took everything in me to discipline him for that one :)

Excellent points, Philip.
However, those legions of dumb people are easily controlled by a
conniving, power-mad genius bent on merciless world domination - which
is, of course, where my kids come in. Work along these lines is coming
along nicely, although not without roadblocks. It's admittedly hard to
find children's books about other power-mad despots like Atilla the Hun,
Kublai Khan, Alexander the Great, Hirohito. No, it's all "Barney Counts
the Butterflies" or "Bobo Ties His Fucking Shoes" or something boring
like that.
Our children are far too protected these days. Entertainment and
children's literature are rife with saccharine, anthropomorphic friendly
creatures, teaching them about useless things like sharing, friendship
and what a triangle is. Screw that. Where's the thumbscrew
instructions? My First Chinese Water Torture? Dick and Jane Engage in
Thermonuclear War? Elmo Subverts Christianity?
Seriously - we are all going to become a nation of sheep unless we start
to nurture and inspire our future evil despots. Support your local
Youth World Domination society. We need to make sure our children (or
at least the smart, beautiful ones) are prepared for their glorious,
blood-soaked future.
