A bit out of it right now. Just got back from driving 10 hours from
Knoxville. Darned glad the weather cooperated.
Did something really nasty to one person. As you know one of my ferrets,
Augustus, is rather bald from his having adrenal sarcoma. I was at a rest
stop and since it was quite warm, around 60 or so, I was giving him his
lunch while sitting on the tailgate of the car. Some guy comes by and
notices that Augustus is bald and wants to know what sort of animal that
"Thang" is. So with a completely deadpan face I told him it was a Naked
Mole Ferret, bred to hunt Naked Mole Rats. And this genius believed me.
I've got to quit preying on the gullibility of idiots.
