Now that's just a scary thought. It's to bad it's as common as it is.
Liberties, rights, these things are there always. They are there to protect
the innocent as well as the guilty. I mean today it's money tomorrow flyers
with political messages? Seriously, stop the violations while you can
peacefully through the legal process. These things do not easily get turned
around.

Especially as a software developer I am acutely aware of piracy and other
factors that impact my pay. Who ever said we were all honest and
upstanding
citizens. Given a chance most of us would probably rob a bank if we felt
we
could 100% for sure get away with it. Without checks and balances this
place
would be a nightmare.
I'm not saying that I condone them doing everything they can to spy on me
but something like this only infringes on my liberties if I am breaking a
law. If they didn't do stuff like this people could try and get away with
it
more often than they do now....
Also, if you don't use the Internet I don't see how they could track you
anyway, so just do your illegal money copying offline (j/k).
