Are you using godaddy's name servers? or URL forwarding?
I think when you use URL forwarding - the first request to a domain gets forwarded to a specific address (probably an IP address or alternate domain name). so you would lose the header information from the original request. just a guess - I could take a look at what godaddy does.
if you are using godaddy's name servers and resolving your server IP - you are in business and can use the host name in IIS to direct to a specific site.
I think the free account at mydns.com lets you maintain 5 domains for free. i also think noip.com has a free service as well.

Anyone here know anything about setting them up?
If so, what's the steps or point me in the direction of a simple,
idiot-proof step-by-step tutorial?
I have a domain at godaddy, and I can use forwarding over there, but I
do not have nameservers to point it to, ... Just another domain on the
server I want the name to go to.
I thought I could just set up a new site, assign the IP of the top site
on the server, then put the hostheader info in, and point the new site
directory to the appropriate folder.
Is this all correct and is there a step I'm missing? Because when I go
to the domain I want to setup IPLess, it merely forwards right to the
domain I don't want it to go to.
Which makes sense, ... But then how do you do IPLess? :D
Many thanks in advance ....
Cheers,
Erika
