As for when I was charged when I bought the item it stated that there may be
charges but I was charged by Royal Mail and not Customs and the packages
didnt look as if they had been tampered with.

I sometimes get charged for items coming in, but havnt had anything not

through...
I suppose if your sending an alarm clock or something make sure it isnt
ticking when you send it ;)
