Most people do not purchase XBoxes to run Linux on them.  I don't think
they'd buy Phantoms to run Linux on them either.

I don't see why people would want to record DVDs onto a system that only has
320GB of storage.  Also, there's no component in, so there'd have to some
sort of adapter, to the USB ports, I suppose.  Not sure if USB2.0 has enough
bandwidth to carry even a 480p signal.  I'm sure 720p/1080i wouldn't stand a
chance through USB.  I don't see why they'd want to watch television through
it (and HDTV would be out of the question, what with no component, HDMI or
DVI inputs) when they could, erm, watch TV without it, like people do now.
I suppose it could be a Tivo-like machine, with the right adapter.
