It all depends on what it runs

IF it runs all PC games, the it's a cheapish solution, especially since
it runs to a TV - a lot of people don't like running games on their PC
compared to consoles as they have to use the "tiny" monitor, in
comparison to their TV - it's a "shared experience" thing

Now, if it does run all PC games, and does auto-updates of new
releases/pathches, then it could sell quite well

If it only runs it's own software, then it needs one thing - big name
developers!

The current software list isn't every PC game, not even close, and
there's a LOT of strange stuff

We won't know this for certain until it's closer to launch.

I'm NOT the kind of person to say "Bah, it won't work" before they've
even seen it - it takes an AWFULLY closed mind to discount it before
it's even on the market - take the PlayStation for example... Sony had
never done anything in the games market, and Sega vs Nintendo was the
market angle... When it first was announced there were a LOT of people
out there who said it'd die as Sega & Nintendo would wipe it out... Now
look at them PS franchise!

Discounting something before it's launched it an incredibly negative
viewpoint, and I feel sorry for you living your life by having to put
things down before you've even seen them
