Unit is $700-$800 IIRC,
but it's a prescription item - has to be calibrated for each person.
My HMO covered most of it,
including a diagnostic unit I wore overnight to record my episodes of apnea, then an evaluation unit to set the correct pressure for me, then a series of classes and follow-ups.
HMO also covers replacement mask/hose every 6 months.

BTW even if you don't wake up (usually don't), you get less quality sleep, as you partly wake out of deep REM sleep to gasp for breath (plus the strain on the heart).
