So. I call 800-778-3632 and wait for the opportunity to put in extension 1211. It never comes. I get a recorded message saying they are very busy right now and will I please leave my name and number. I try several times and get the message all three times. OK OK so I start to leave the message but am interrupted by modem noises. I hang up. If this were anyone but Cisco the ad would go in the trash about now....
Am I the only one that is seeing a lot of this? I spent three months trying to order DSL from McLeod USA, who did the same unattainable extension trick. Of course, they also mixed my file up with another file, lost three different sets of paperwork and then told me they did the loop test on the wrong phone number. About then I told them that they should be ashamed to call themselves a phone company and made arrangements to transfer our business to Qwest.
Maybe it's me. Maybe I am just jaundiced by having to bring a note from a travel agency so I can get a copy of my birth certificate (I mean, wtf, but that's a separate rant....) Does anyone else have these kinds of problems?
