Mine are pierced.  It can totally be a nerve thing.  But all people are
different.  I mean like you would think that all women would be able to
achieve orgasm if they did the same series of motions, but that doesn't work
all the time.

I guess there could be societal issues, as well as personal issues, like
abuse or religious belief that could get in the way.

  I find this strange, since I've met many a man who was turned on by having
  his breasts fondled. Seems to me that there are some nerve endings there
  that are highly susceptible to stimulation. Of course, I also know women
  (including me) that aren't all that turned on by nipple stim. I wonder how
  much of "stimulation" is societal vs. how much is biological....
