The front office computer has developed an annoying tic. If I type quote, upper case letter as I have occasion to do many times while composing complete sentences, I get no quote mark and these two little dots above the capital letter. You know, what they call a trema in French and an umlaut in German. I figured I had upset word somehow and have been trying to ignore it till I can get the time to talk to a paperclip. However, I just noticed the U umlaut in my last post and I am at the archives... so it would seem it isn't Word it's Windows. 98 btw. I know I have seen similar things when I set my alphabet to albanian or Turkish, but I thought I usually had an icon in the icontry when using a different alphabet... control panel?
