answering a post about code, and wanted to include an entire code
snippet that was longer than 8 or 10 or 20 lines ....
what if the new list code REQUIRED them to wrap that code in a
<CF_KEEPTHIS> type tag?
You know what I mean? Then you could REGEX for that ... an open and a
close ....
Now this idea might be far fetched ... but I'm on a few RATHER FREAKING
LARGE email lists where posters are required to include "snippets" of
stuff encased in special tags that the list software picks up and
catalogues for special uses.
I CERTAINLY think that if people MUST have a certain snippet, then they
DAMN well better do what it takes to ensure that said code is included
in said reply ... right?
Or am I dreaming of paradise again?

I'm nt really sure I can think of any limit that is not arbitrary.
