Never heard that happening before with plugging in a LCD monitor.

And what is the system hive? This is in Windows 2000?

I've never heard of that either.

Good thing to backup though...at least you will have the backup for the
new graphics card! I mean..if that happened just by changing the
monitor.. what's going to happen when you swap out a whole card!

Better make TWO backups just in case hee hee hee ^_^

Glad wu are happy though.

and edit the registry, even though I hate doing that. But at least I
