A full hour of digital tv saved to hard drive then converted to dvd / mpeg-2
is about 1.67 Gig.

I think the wma format is smaller but dont remember of the top of my head.
I should probably find out because I watch enough things on my laptop.

Im not sure what format you have but its digital video (digital
camcorder) or converted analog to digital its probably in mpeg format
already.

I assume youre not trying to email these videos and instead ~ are trying
to ftp them ? Most mail providers would complain about that much data
transfer using email.

I am still hosting with them but I dont want to kill the bandwidth for
prunebelly, which is on my account. I find them ok, though their tech
support is fairly moronic. If you dont need tech support they are probably
the way to go. I really have no idea how large the files are. We have 12
video tapes of about 15 minutes each, but I would guess that we are really
only interested in uploading about half of that. Given my utter inexperience
with video, I am not even going to try to guess how big that is. If anyone
can estimate, that may make me able to ask a more intelligent question :P
