You can use ReplayPC or DVArchive and download from the Replay direct to
your PC. This woman I work with didn't have HBO when she first moved
into her new house so I Recorded them on my Replay then transferred to
my pc and then converted them to a VCD since I don't have a DVD burner.
Pretty easy.

ReplayTV to digital camcorder to pc to DVD, lotsa manual effort.
