It shouldn't - but the cable lines aren't like power lines - each split
effectively halves the signal.


So, in other words, if you're full single is "one" one splitter would make
two lines with ".5" and another splitter would make one ".5" line and two
".25" lines.  That's simplistic, but that's the way it was explained to me.


Still if your base signal is strong you should be fine: I've got Comcast
digital cable with a broadband modem.  It's split once when it comes in (one
to the cable modem) and then split to two TVs.   The cable modem works fine
and both TVs get great pictures (both in regular and High-Def).


You should be fine.

Anyone know if a simple cable splitter will intefere with a cable modem? The
upstream connection I mean.
