To clarify the device has 128mb of memory and an MMC/SD memory card slot for "unlimited expansion".  That's the kind of thing on which I'm trying to get a handle.  That sounds cool, but what does it really mean?

The 64 megs of RAM was part of the system requirements for the PC running their music file management/downloading software.
