Still no matter what that part of the world thinks, would we regain the same
moral stance by acting as brutal as the previous regimes in the area? I
think that it would be far better to make sure that its an exception and
ensure that it doesn't happen again.

As a note, Islamicists refers to the radical islamic ideology followed by Al
Queda, the Islamic Brotherhoods, and other radical groups. There are no
"normal" Islamicists.
