Thanks guys. So yea, this is a squeeze clamp. I assume so because I had to
use some pliers to squeeze them to open up the metal doohicky. This allowed
me to push down a bit more than what I had before. Hopefully this will do
it.

Bah. If I could just telnet in and setTightness(...) this wouldn't be an
issue. :\
