agree wholeheartedly. We are not in School/University anymore where reference material in exams is frowned upon. The idea is to get the job done in an efficient and correct manner. Manuals, sample code and examples make us better coders.

I have the manual sitting next to my keyboard. I use it maybe 2 times a week
to double check syntax on something. I've found myself using livedocs a bit
more than normal lately, as we just upgraded to MX and I'm still learning
the ins and outs.

I'd rather hire someone that used a manual than someone that spend hours
shooting in the dark when a five minute manual perusal would have answered
their questions.
