Point 2: Rapid Application Development and Learning Curve

ColdFusion
The language constructs are new and unlike any other programming language,
so the learning curve is flat.

>  BS, you can either follow a procedural or object based development
methodology with CF.  It uses normal programming logic (conditional, loops,
variables and so forth).  CF is basically a JSP tag library at this point.

VisualStudio.NET
One can use either VB or C+, with C+ being the more popular.  A programmer
knowing either one of these languages can be productive right away.

> a programmer knowing Java is immediately productive.

A lot of components are readily available. For a small application, this is
plug and play.

> There are many open source applications from sources like Macromedia, and
source forge.  Also the community has many free apps available if you look.
