My client is looking for a person with a strong desire to learn, grow, and dedicate him/herself to all things CF! This core position is for a webmaster in a large, stable organization. This organization has a very large IT department but is forming an elite group to head their intranet/e-commerce/extranet efforts. The term "webmaster" can be used for a variety of positions so I'll be more precise. The webmaster will be responsible for: 1). All tuning, maintenance, and support of the ColdFusion servers (NT platform). 2). CF development and coding (although they do have a senior CF developer as part of the team). 3). Will be responsible for the "big picture" and strategic implementation of browser-based delivery systems for this organization. 4). Maintain standards and guidelines for development. This is a conservative environment but that has some pluses. For example, they're big and stable! They build things on solid solutions (CF!) with repeatable results. All systems are mission critical and are therefore fully redundant and protected. A perfect candidate would have a background with experience in networking, programming (preferably CF on NT), and system administration (fine-tuning and performance tuning of the server). If you're light in one of the above areas, please contact me as they will provide full training and support as needed to "build" the perfect webmaster. Expect training and certification as one of the perks of this position. The salary range depends upon experience but is quite competitive. Future plans: Implementation of Fusebox development methodology. Potential implementation of Spectra. Location: San Dimas, CA If you're interested, or have a buddy who might be, drop me a note or call. Regards, Todd Cranston-Cuebas The Thor Group 2500 E.
