I haven't been able to find anything since the end of April. I decided if I
couldn't market my skills (certified, used cf since 2.0, Ph.D. in
Engineering) I would live off savings and develop my own site
(www.cyberroomies.com) . Today it received it's first paying customer. That
brings my pay up to roughly $0.04/hr.

Anyway, I learned a lot developing the site and hopefully will be able to
support myself on it before the savings are completely gone. Thank goodness
my kids graduated college last spring so no hardship on them.

So hang in there folks and if you can't get paid for your skills then use
them for yourself.

Don

P.S. Things seem to be picking up a bit. At least recruiters are starting to
call again.
