The Candidate will assist in the upgrade, enhancement and optimization of various web-based systems in support of the FAA.
The incumbent will:
Be skilled in web design/development with provenability to build intuitive web sites. Be familiar with Macromedia Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop, Flash, Fireworks on both Windows 2000 and NT platforms. Experience in Visual Basic for Applications to adapt certain existing applications to work with Microsoft Office tools is necessary. Need to interface with both IE and Netscape browsers. Be conversant in Java, j2ee, perl, xml, xstl, and build web interfaces to databases. Provide on-site web-based software programming support to the customer. Programming support involves web site design, implementation, testing, and maintenance activities. Position is primary technical resource for developing and implementing the required web sites. Additional programming support to include on-line database design and implementation and user/application interface scripting and coding.

*Software: 3-5 years experience with web-based programming to include experience with Cold Fusion. Position requires practical experience with HTML, dynamic HTML, Section 508 compliance, web-based database and content management experience.

*Ability to multitask and develop schedules plans for milestones and deliverables
*Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, to interface with other team members for determining requirements, problem solving, etc.
