Middleware Administrator
Description: Install and configure middleware software packages on a variety of hardware platforms including workstations, servers, and mainframe. Middleware SW packages may include WebSphere, MQ Series, IIS, HTTP Server, Active Works (Web Methods), Cold Fusion, and SSL. Upgrade and/or migrate to new release middleware SW packages including WebSphere, MQ Series, IIS, HTTP Server, Active Works (Web Methods), Cold Fusion, and SSL. Maintain and patch middleware SW packages. Troubleshoot, investigate, analyze, and resolve problems with middleware SW packages. As needed, work with the IT server group, other business units, developers and users to address problems and issues. Interface with the IT Support Center to communicate the staus of active problems. Work with application developers and end-users to migrate various middleware related applications from development/test environments to production environments. Provide technical support to developers and users as needed. Knowledge of Sharepoint and MS Project 2002 desirable.
