The Systems Developer is responsible for developing web applications, database reports, and database conversions to support the functionality on our client's web sites and membership databases. Further responsibilities include implementing full life cycle development process, membership product(s) support, interfacing with internal clients, and working closely with project managers in completing tasks. *Demonstrated Experience:* - Performing full lifecycle development (skills well beyond web production) including coding, testing and implementing development projects - Conducting database-to-web programming using ASP and ColdFusion (preferred) - Managing web design and architecture while effectively understanding and communicating web site idiosyncrasies from various industries - Demonstrated experience with TSQL query writing, scripting and troubleshooting. - Creating standards, policies, and procedures - Partnering with project managers to create specs and time/cost estimates, then developing deliverables - Understanding relational databases - Working independently and managing own time with assigned tasks from design specifications - Comprehensive knowledge of HTML work with JavaScript - Experience with Association Management or iMIS a big plus *Successful candidate will have: * - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science - 2+ yrs as an IT consultant - 1-3 yrs database to web programming (coldfusion) - Experience with ASP/ASP.net and understanding of TSQL language - Experience with MS SQL Server 7/200, MS Access, MySQL - Knowledge of XML as well as .Net and related languages a plus - Must be able to work in a team environment - Strong written and verbal skills - Strong, positive, customer service attitude - Self motivated; ability to problem solve and manage multiple tasks and deadlines SmithBucklin is proud to offer the following benefits which include but, are not limited to: Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, 401(k), Tuition Reimbursement and Educational Assistance.
