Epoq are the UK's leading provider of affordable legal services online and are
currently looking for a ColdFusion developer to join our innovative team.
Based in our exciting office in NW London you will assist with the development
of own brand and white label B2B/B2C e-commerce sites for our blue-chip clients.
Responsibilities & Tasks
* Maintain and enhance existing websites.
* Develop new websites as required.
* Conduct testing as required.
* Assist project managers in developing robust technical specifications.
* Assist project managers in estimating the duration of coding tasks.
* Maintain excellent relationships with others in the company.
* Provide regular progress reports on work to Team Leader and project
managers.
* Ensure prompt escalation of risks and issues.
* Assist Team Leader as required.
Reports To: Head of Web Development
Experience
* Education to A-Level, degree preferable.
* Total of three years' development experience essential.
* Previous experience of working on commercial ecommerce projects highly
desirable.
* Three years' experience of HTML.
* Two years' experience of JavaScript.
* One year's experience using ColdFusion.
* Experience of MS SQL 7 or similar database technology (e.g. Oracle,
MySQL) is highly desirable.
* Experience developing enterprise technical solution advantageous.
* Web design skills advantageous.
* Keen interest in web technologies is essential.
* Development ability and competency more important than outright
experience.
