When I work with someone for the first time I sometimes use www.rentacoder.com to setup an escrow and provide arbitration services... They have a setup that allows for private job bids. That way I know I will get paid as long as I do the work to the company's satisfaction. I've never worked with scriptlance but you might be able to do the same thing there. https://www.scriptlance.com
