What you need for this position: - 2 years of experience minimum in developing web-based applications using ColdFusion MX. - Experience in developing web-based applications using JAVA, J2EE, J2SE, JSP, AJAX and JavaScript is desirable. - Knowledge of MySQL system and SQL queries. - Experience with development of web-based applications, including a clear understanding of web technologies (HTTP, HTML, XML, XSLT etc.). - Experience with WSDL and SOAP dialogs What you'll be doing: - Architect, design and develop web applications for Intranet and front office sites mainly using ColdFusion MX, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, XML, PERL and other CGI-BIN languages. - Engage with functional owners and end-users to understand and collect web applications development requirements. - Analyze requirements and prepare functional and technical requirements documents. - Based on the requirements documents generate a plan to include design, development, test and deployment methodologies. - Continuously work with other internal programmers to develop a library of ColdFusion and JavaScript standard functions. -Work effectively with project manager and other team members to meet deadlines and reach departmental goal -Continuously monitor performance of all the production applications and reports and optimize the database schema, applications programs as well as reporting scripts to address performance issues.
