Title: Web Server Systems Administrator Location: Patuxent River, MD Duration: 3 months contract to hire
Description: Roles and Responsibilities: ⢠Provide web systems administration support of IIS and ColdFusion Enterprise Server on multiple physical and virtual (VMWare) Windows server environments. ⢠Perform software upgrades of various web related tools/products. ⢠Apply application patches in accordance with IAVAâs ⢠Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve system and application issues in a web based environment. ⢠Provide Tier 2 help desk support; answering trouble-calls on various products and troubleshooting issues. Minimum Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below: ⢠High School Diploma ⢠11 years relevant experience ⢠Experience with: o Windows 2003 server operating system and IIS 6 security protocols and administration o Cold Fusion Version 8 server administration o Troubleshooting/administration of SQL Server 2003 or higher o .Net administration o VMWare server environments o TCP/IP networks/protocols and Firewalls ⢠Strong written and verbal communication skills. ⢠Ability to work in a fast moving, dynamic, team-oriented environment. ⢠Experience with Trouble Ticketing applications (HEAT preferred) ⢠Experience in Configuration Management/Version Control to ensure hardware/server configurations are properly maintained. ⢠Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance. ⢠US Citizenship required. Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration: ⢠Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar program. ⢠7 years relevant experience. ⢠Experience within Navy Marine Corps Intranet technical environment. ⢠Administration of Web Trends. ⢠Administration of Adobe Connect ⢠Active SECRET clearance.
