Have to agree with your argument on Mandrake, although it would probably not be my
distro of choice for a mission critical server. But all is not lost. If you have been
following this
thread you probably read Jesse's advice on what causes the relinking error. In fact,
if you follow his advice and replace the libstdc++.so file with one from a working
RedHat 6.2
machine it should be solved. Certainly worked a treat for me! Give me a shout if you
do not have to file to hand and I can send it to you.
