SSL is a pure webserver issue, ColdFusion has naught to do with it. You
definitely will need to use Stronghold or mod_ssl. I use mod_ssl, but it's
not the simplest install in the world.

A note on setting up a SSL secure site with CF would be helpful. Being
new to CF it was not clear to me if the SSL support was built into CF or
if I had to setup a secure server such as stronghold or Apache/mod-ssl.
The CF documentation did not help to clarify this point.
