Yes, you wouldn't want to be out putting source code to browsers, but
I imagined you needed this because you didn't want other people who
have access to your server to run cfm files. So, make it so they are
treated as text files, and I don't think people will be uploading & trying
to run their own .cfm files for very long.

If thats not the exact case, its only you that has access to the server,
just don't put cfm files out there. You are turning it off for a reason,
because you don't want to run .cfm files, so it would only make sense
that you would not go and put .cfm source code files in that area.

OR, you could try to do a redirect whenever a .cfm file request is encountered.
This would be a little harder, probably using mod_redirect or mod_rewrite
or something like that.
