Kick telnet for remote admin ASAP.
That is a big security gap you can create on Lx.
Convert to SSH or VNC or sometin...not telnet.
Get Secure Shell (ssh) from rpmfind.net , its encrypted, and it
gives you a shell, but thats all you need.
download all 3 packages, ssh, ssh server, and on the remote machine ssh and
ssh client.
Try 3rd party odbc drivers for you databases, it will work (but at a price
though).
