Okay, I've just set up CF Server on my Mandrake box and, thanks to some
help, managed to get everything going. I'm trying to build a
quasi-development environment and have some really basic questions:
- One of my clients uses SQL Server on a virtual host. I have the
connection information, but how do I set up the datasource on my Linux box
to connect to the server?
- Another client constantly uses Access databases (it's his call, I'm doing
spot work for him), what do I need to get/do to set up these kinds of
databases?
I'm running CF Server 4.5 and Apache 1.3.9. I have PostGreSQL and MySQL
available already. The fun part is that I don't have GUI access... this is
a headless box, so I do all my setup either through telnet or web interface.
If there's a site that answers these (and other) newbie questions, that'd be
great!
