This is weird. I have a self-publishing application which uses text cells to store web
pages. Everything worked fine until I put in a large page (13.3 Kb). PostgreSQL choked
on it until
I upgraded to version 7.1 which removes the tuple limit that was in ver. 7.0. Now Cold
Fusion is a) refusing to display the whole page in the cell and refusing to update the
page at
all. The update error message is: " Error while executing the query; Query string is
too long".
I have changed the settings in Administrator to "Enable retrieval of long text" and
bumped the Long Text buffer size up to 250,000 characters. Nothing works.
I know the data is in the database because I can see it with PSQL and phpPgAdmin. Any
suggestions?
