Hello,
I've been developing some CF applications on my Windows machine
(using Access) and have started to move them to our Linux web
server (using Interbase). It's a mess. Interbase is picky about
quote marks and capitalization, and expressions that work in the
Windows/Access situation, won't work in the Linux/Interbase one,
so the code is broken all over the place. I can't find a lot of
information about Interbase (I have every PDF from Borland's site)
and there's nothing about using the two together.
Is there anyone else out there using CF and Interbase on a Linux
box? Do you have some general rules that you follow when coding
your queries for Interbase (is it a peculiar version of SQL?)? Are
there resources (web sites, lists, books) available somewhere to
help me figure out how to do this better?
Thanks!
Jen
