Which version of the libstdc libs did you grab? The ones from 6.2/7.0/7.1, etc?
I'm going to try tracking down a box to throw debian on (yuck.) so I can possibly see what going on. -----Original Message----- From: Andy Ciordia [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Wednesday, October 03, 2001 10:07 AM To: CF-Linux Subject: Still trying to get this.. Ok.. I started over.. I decided to work from the debian docs verbatium.. I've installed both libstdc++ and the compat libs from redhat.. god only knows the fun I'm wreaking jamming these two pieces together in debian. Package: libstdc++ Status: install ok installed Priority: extra Section: alien Installed-Size: 3484 Maintainer: Operator <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Version: 2.9.0-31 Now, when I launch coldfusion, I am still getting these errors. atlas:/opt/coldfusion/bin> sudo ./start /opt/coldfusion/bin/cfexec: Symbol `__vt_9bad_alloc' has different size in shared object, consider re-linking /opt/coldfusion/bin/cfexec: Symbol `__vt_11logic_error' has different size in shared object, consider re-linking /opt/coldfusion/bin/cfexec: Symbol `__vt_12length_error' has different size in shared object, consider re-linking /opt/coldfusion/bin/cfexec: Symbol `__vt_12out_of_range' has different size in shared object, consider re-linking /opt/coldfusion/bin/cfexec: Symbol `__vt_9exception' has different size in shared object, consider re-linking So whats the problem here? This is deb 2.2 stable. I've also installed the debs of apache and the dev resources instead of building my own. However, I'm not going to go any further until I can resolve this issue.
