If you're using coldfusion 4.5, then it may be because CFMAIL doesn't include the required CRLF.CRLF to end a message. CF5 is reported to do the CRLF.CRLF just fine. (Not all mail servers accept an LF.LF as an end-of-message identifier - qmail does not accept it, sendmail does.)
Hope that helps. ttyl mark leonard > -----Original Message----- > From: Tim Storm [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > just to add some further finger pointing - we were able to set up a PHP > script to send the mail through the same server without any problems.... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Get the mailserver that powers this list at http://www.coolfusion.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/cf-linux%40houseoffusion.com/ To Unsubscribe visit http://www.houseoffusion.com/index.cfm?sidebar=lists&body=lists/cf_linux or send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with 'unsubscribe' in the body.
