Yep, that's definitely quite a large registry. As Tom already mentioned, you really should have your client variables in a database, not in the cf.registry flat file.
First thing you need to do though is get rid of most of what you already have in the registry file. You can either try editing the file manually and removing some of the client variables, or try using the script provided in this kb: http://www.allaire.com/Handlers/index.cfm?ID=20340&Method=Full Debbie -----Original Message----- From: Mark Leonard [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, November 15, 2001 3:01 PM To: CF-Linux Subject: RE: cfexec taking huge amounts of resources and dying Whoa.. the registry directory is 80 megs.. the cf.registry file is 33 megs. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Get the mailserver that powers this list at http://www.coolfusion.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/cf-linux%40houseoffusion.com/ To Unsubscribe visit http://www.houseoffusion.com/index.cfm?sidebar=lists&body=lists/cf_linux or send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with 'unsubscribe' in the body.
