No worries, I did say allegedly! ;^) Jesse, Mandrake is one of the most popular distributions for people starting out with linux. Most of the magazine reviews that are coming out are putting Mandrake ahead of Red Hat in terms of ease of use etc. Do you think it is in Macromedia's interest to add support for Mandrake in addition to RedHat and SuSe?
I, for one, haven't installed ColdFusion on linux yet, apart from the time factor, because I don't want to install Red Hat on my dev server. I like, and am happy, with Mandrake. Personally, I think if many others who are relatively new to linux, and have gone and read the reviews, install Mandrake, they may not be so keen on changing to another distro. While I have an NT server sitting here, I won't change my linux server to run Red Hat just to install Cold Fusion. This could also be why our Virtual Server hosting company don't offer CF on linux!
