Yeah, the admin will "seem" slow. The issue is that one first run, everything is 
getting compiled. The admin, because it's probably 90% fully dynamic, has to 
repopulate it's data a good 60% of the time (adding DSNs, etc). I know, it's annoying, 
but it's one of those JIT compile time things you just can't get past.

Did the install treat you right? (I hope so, I wrote most of the Linux/UNix stuff) =]
