Ah! That's why. >Did the install treat you right? (I hope so, I wrote most of the >Linux/UNix stuff) =] Yes, well done! I installed it on the not-supported-Debian with no effort at all, except for a problem of mine, explained hereafter. I've lost a lot of time because of a bug in my $PATH. Everything worked fine, apparently, the service started, the internal server too, but when I tried to access the admin, I had a 505 (can't find jikesw). The problem was that, because of this $PATH error, the last case in $CFHOME/bin/coldfusion returned an error (when it run the export PATH: ... ) and did not export all of the paths, included the one with jikesw. I found it looking at the logs. Maybe, I would suggest to exit the script as soon as an error is encountered. Ah, the log warns me about a not found license file (I'm just evaluating) regards, -- Rd "Soft as the massacre of Suns By Evening's Sabres slain" [E.Dickinson] ______________________________________________________________________ This list and all House of Fusion resources hosted by CFHosting.com.
