Yes, well done! I installed it on the not-supported-Debian with no effort 
at all, except for a problem of mine, explained hereafter.

I've lost a lot of time because of a bug in my $PATH. Everything worked 
fine, apparently, the service started, the internal server too, but when I 
tried to access the admin, I had a 505 (can't find jikesw).
The problem was that, because of this $PATH error, the last case in 
$CFHOME/bin/coldfusion
returned an error (when it run the export PATH: ... ) and did not export 
all of the paths, included the one with jikesw. I found it looking at the 
logs. Maybe, I would suggest to exit the script as soon as an error is 
encountered.

Ah, the log warns me about a not found license file (I'm just evaluating)
